This app is designed to work with BFT brand gsm intercoms version3.5. Please note that the hold open command latches the intercomoutput relay on. For many gate systems which are setup forautomatic closing, this will trigger the gates to open by sending aspecial sms code, and the gates will stay open until theunhold/close button is pressed. This command also sends a specialsms string to the intercom to release the relay to its normalstate. If the installer fits a limit switch or reed switch andconnects to the input on the intercom, you can use the check gatestatus button. This also sends a special command by sms and theintercom will reply to notify if the gate is open or closed. Thetrigger gate button speed dials the gate intercom sim phone numberfor you. It is an easier way to open your gates than finding thenumber in your phone directory. If the installer had stored yourphone number in the intercom memory for caller id access, then thiswill work. All of these features need the default commands enteredin the settings menu along with the intercom sim number before theapp will work. Note- If you are using your gates on step by stepmode, and not using automatic closing mode, then the hold open andunhold buttons should not be used.
